Did you know it’s possible for you and your student to travel the world in a cardboard box?
You can visit the modern cities of Europe, The Man Mahal in India, and The Great Wall of China all in one day with Google Expedition!
We will show you how!
With Google Expeditions, students can take field trips right from their home. Teachers take the role as the tour guide, or switch roles and have your student guide you.
Each Expedition is a curated set of virtual reality imagery along with integrated descriptions, talking points, and questions.
To get started on your adventure you will need a mobile phone. The devices must fit into the VR viewer you choose.
You will also need one VR viewer per mobile device. We recommend Google Cardboard.
Once you have your VR viewer, download the free Google Expeditions app.
Scan the QR code on the viewer using your phone’s camera.
Open the top flap of the viewer and take out the side flaps then pull the flaps up and press against the fasteners on the sides.
Place your phone inside the Cardboard viewer and look through the lenses to enter the world of virtual reality no stress traveling.
Here are a few amazing places you can travel to with Google Expeditions. Just type the title or location in the App search bar, press search and your journey begins.
