We all know that students are entitled to many discounts if they have an ID to show!
Did you know that parents and guardians of homeschool students are considered teachers by many retailers and they extend educational discounts to them if they can show a staff member school ID?
The Simple Dollar and Gift Card Granny have a list of retailers that offer student discounts. The Rather Be Shopping Blog, Gift Card Granny, The Deal Hack, and Brad’s Deals websites have lists of places that offer teacher discounts.
So where can you get an ID so you can access discounts?
KDKC Photos
Dan from KDKC Photos will be in attendance at our Irvine Helping H.A.N.D. event on July 17th to take photos and print student and teacher IDs on the spot for homeschooling families and program staff. We have paid his set up fee for the event so everyone can enjoy a great price of only $5.00 per ID.
Remember that these IDs are very helpful for amazing discounts that families can obtain by simply showing their ID card at a number of merchants.
For those of you who can not attend our Irvine Helping H.A.N.D. Event, there are also options for obtaining a school ID through the mail or print at home:
