Be a part of the first-ever NPR Student Podcast Challenge!
It's a chance for teachers and students across the country to turn their classrooms into production studios, assignments into scripts and ideas into sound.
This contest is open to homeschool teachers with students between 5th and 12th grade.
The NPR Student Podcast Challenge is a podcast submission contest where teachers can
submit an audio file created by their student for an opportunity to have NPR and/or station
reporters come to their school to meet and interview them and their student and have the
winning podcast discussed in a news segment that will appear on an episode of NPR's All
Things Considered or Morning Edition.
The submission period begins at 12:00 a.m. EST on January 1, 2019, and ends at 11:59 p.m.
EDT on March 31, 2019. The judging period begins on April 1, 2019, and ends on or about
April 21, 2019.
