Assemblymember Kevin Kiley is a champion for our children and school choice in California. We were very excited to learn more about him, the California State Legislative process, and how we can best engage with our representatives at our State Capitol to advocate for our children.
RECORDED PRESENTATION
We recently caught up with Assemblymember Kiley while we were at the Capitol in the Assembly Education Committee, where he serves as co-chair. Many of our families were there to oppose AB 1316, a new bill that, if passed, will severely limit our choices in charter schools.
Maybe you have seen him speaking up for us during California Assembly Floor sessions? If not, here is a clip of him opposing SB 98, the budget trailer bill that froze funding for our schools during the pandemic.
