Join me in visiting Frog Creek Lavender Farm in Ojai. This family owned farm will give us a presentation on the different types of lavender, it's history and their many uses. We can pick our own bundles for $2. We will learn about bees and how important they are to our world. There are many bees at this lavender farm so if you are allergic be sure to come prepared. Also the owner of this farm tells me that right next to her farm is a small veggie farm. If you would like to purchase vegetables along with your lavender, bring cash (cash only facility) and you can stock up on lavender and veggies.
It will be hot. Please bring hats and wear close-toe shoes.
Parking is near the fence on the dirt road.
VERY IMPORTANT. There are no public bathrooms. There is a small grocery store and a hamburger restaurant near this farm and they have bathrooms.
